The Sandpiper Hotel in Blackpool's south shore is being offered for sale

 

The Sandpiper Hotel is a 12 bedroom licensed B&B located about 200yds off the prom on Withnell Road Within the new Holiday zone in Blackpool's South Shore. It is less than a 2 minute walk to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, South Pier, Sandcastle Waterpark and G Casino. Withnell Road forms a direct route from the main car parks to the Prom and is therefore ideal for catching passing trade.

 

The Sandpiper Hotel has 12 guest bedrooms, these comprise of 2 standard rooms, 8 en-suite rooms and a 2 bedroomed family suite with full bathroom.  There is also a large bar and separate dining room.

 

The Hotel offers spacious and flexible owner's accommodation. This is currently arranged as 3 bedrooms, although this could easily be changed to 1 or 2 bedrooms and a living room. The owner's accommodation also offers a toilet, shower room, and a large utility room.

 

The exterior of the Hotel has a car park at the rear with space for up to 5 cars, a further parking space on the shared driveway to the side, and a patio area at the front.

 

We have had the Hotel since 2005 and we are now placing the Hotel for sale. During our time of owning the Hotel we have carried out a lot of refurbishment work including repairs to the roof and redecorating of the rooms as well as upgrading the electrics and installing a full L2 fire alarm system. We have also developed the business well, putting good advertising in place and implementing an online booking system, taking the turnover from around £20,000 when we took over in 2005 to around £30,000 for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
