Blackpool has 1 multi screen cinema, it is a little hidden but can be easily found if you know where to look. Its on Rigby road, this is a road that leads from the promenade inland at Manchester Square. Manchester Square is located between Central Pier and South Pier, it also marks the point at which the trams leave the promenade to return to the depot.
The cinema is an Odean cinema and you can be sure of a comfortable seat and the latest films and blockbusters.
Blackpool Odean Cinema in Rigby Road just down the road from eh Manchester pub and past the famous Happy Scotts bar.
Blackpool Grundy Art Gallery
Grundy Art Gallery is a stunning Grade II listed art venue situated in the centre of Blackpool. Its beautiful Edwardian architecture hosts an extensive programme of temporary exhibitions including historical, modern and contemporary art, featuring established and emerging artists from the UK and abroad.
Exhibitions featuring artworks from the gallery's permanent collection are organised periodically throughout the year.
Showzam
Showzam is a festival of circus, magic and new variety is a new event for Blackpool targeting the February half-term holidays. The festival first took place in 2008 and was a hailed as a great success by all who watched the entertainment. To put it simply Showzam is a captivating festival with something for everyone. It is a unique festival to Blackpool bringing together talent, skills, and the magic of the theatre. It features world famous performers from the entertainment industry, including circus, magic and variety shows. It is 10 days of excitement with fire, steam, light, wizards, workshops, and much much more.

We are placed right in the heart of South Shore Blackpool. Close to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The Sandcastle Water Park, South Pier and Blackpool's large Sandy Beach.
Waterloo Road shopping area and covered markets are just around the corner. Also local is The Duple social club (which welcomes children) with it's traditional Blackpool bingo and nightly entertainment in the evenings (during the Summer Season) and it is just a 2 minute walk. There are also variou pubs and restaurants within a very short walk from The Sandpiper Bed and Breakfast.
We provide a choice of accommodation, most rooms have modern en-suite's and are tastefully decorated. Each comes with a hospitality tray of tea and coffee, towels, soap and televisions with Freeview.
There are many family offers available in Blackpool through the Summer season for example the Sandcastle Water Park Complex offers 10% off entry prices if tickets are booked online.
